Are you interested in joining our choir? Great!

We'll hold auditions every two weeks. Young singers between the ages of 4 and 14 are welcome to audition. The auditions are free, and so is the choir membership.

We have big plans for the choir, and we'll develop it into a wonderful educational resource for the children. Stay tuned for more details on this!

Selection Criteria

The Artistic Director reserves the right to determine when a young singer will enter our choir.

Prior musical training is not required. The Little Lights Children's Choir welcomes children of all races, and economic backgrounds regardless of physical disabilities. Children who demonstrate the following in the audition are chosen for membership:

• A clear, pleasant singing voice, as shown through singing 1-2 stanzas of a prepared song
• Ability to hear and reproduce musical pitch and rhythm
• Interest in singing and a sincere desire to be in a Christian choir
• Ability to read words in English

A pre-requisite is also the ability to commit to regular practices and performances, which will be announced in advance.

We're looking for a pianist to join us at selected practices. Email us your CV! You've got to be good enough to play without sheet music at times, and to improvise as needed. We need good help! :-)
